Increasing demands for building projects result from Economic and Social development. The Building industry is multifaceted.

Efficient and Effective practice of building production management is required to successfully execute projects and achieve project goals as well as functionality aims for the lifespan of a building.

In building construction delivery, Building Efficiency must also be considered: improving the overall performance of a complex system designed to provide occupants with a comfortable, safe, attractive living and working environment. This requires superior architecture and Engineering designs, quality construction practices, and intelligent operation of the structures.

It is estimated that Nigeria has a deficit of 17m housing units or better still; Nigeria still needs 17m housing units to cater to her populace and eliminate the deficit and fill the needs.

In the midst of all of these, there is the incessant occurrence of building collapses across Nigeria. A lot more education, awareness, sensitisation, call for professionalism and effective Regulations are urgently required in the Building industry sector of Nigeria.

This high-powered Roundtable creates awareness and educates the Public; charge and bolster Building Control Agencies/Regulators/Enforcement and encourage more Professionalism in the Sector.

The big deliverables from this roundtable would be: to instill the Culture of Building Right, i.e building safe and durable houses; eliminate/curb building collapse incidences and mitigate the associated loss of lives and properties.

The Roundtable 2022 is now a digital/online Event.
